Women's Cross Country Team Ranked 13th In Southeast Region; Men Take 15th Spot
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman women's cross country team is ranked 13th in the Southeast Region, according to the week eight regional rankings released this week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), while the Paladins men's team moved into the 15th spot in the poll.
N.C. State holds the top spots in both the women's and men's Southeast Region rankings. In the women's poll, the Wolfpack is followed by Virginia, who fell from the top spot. North Carolina, Clemson, and UNC Greensboro round out the top five teams in the Southeast Region women's poll. North Carolina ranks second in the men's poll, followed by Eastern Kentucky, Louisville, and Duke.
The Paladins will compete at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Saturday, November 12.
