GREENVILLE, S.C. – The 42nd annual Gene Cross Country Invitational will be held Sat., Oct. 11, on the Furman University Golf Course.
The Saturday races will kick off with the collegiate women's 5K event at 8:30 a.m., followed by the collegiate men's 5K race at 9:00 a.m. At 9:30 a.m. the high school girls' championship 5K race will begin, followed by the boys' championship 5K race at 10:10 a.m. The JV girls' 5K starts at 10:50 a.m., then the JV boys' 5K at 11:30 a.m. All races will be held on the cross country course of the Furman Golf Club, which has hosted two NCAA Division I Cross Country championships.
Furman welcomes Claflin, Jacksonville State, and Milligan for the collegiate races, while 41 high school teams will attend the meet. Complete results will be available following the event at www.furmanpaladins.com, the official website for Furman University athletics.
