Redshirt freshman Troy Reeder leads all runners in the men's mile (4:05.86) and the 3,000m (7:59.30), and sophomore Josh Brickell's time of 14:17.35 is atop the leaderboard for the men's 5,000m.
"We are very excited about this weekend's SoCon Championship," said Furman head coach Robert Gary. "Both the men and women's teams have carved out some great goals. Our programs have never placed among the top four teams at the same league championship, and we also feel like we can score Furman's highest point total ever at this championship. Tripp Hurt returns to these championships to defend two titles, and Sinead Haughey has her sights set on her first indoor title. Both seniors are very excited to lead our programs."
