Paladin Women's 4x800m Relay Team Sets New School Record At Sea Ray Relays

KNOXVILLE, TENN. -- The Furman women's 4x800m relay team of freshmen Jacquelyn Crow and Becca Cooley and sophomores Allie Buchalski and Ann Sisson set a new Paladin record Saturday at the Tennessee Relays Powered by Sea Ray in Knoxville, Tenn. 

The team posted a time of 9:02.33 for second place, breaking the former record of 9:16.93, set in 2011.

The Paladin men's 4x800m relay team of William Ivey, James Perez, Nate Riech, and Austin Sprague placed eighth with a time of 7:51.63 at the meet.

Furman will compete at the Virginia Challenge April 17-18 in Charlottesville, Va.
