GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman cross country teams will compete at the Virginia/Panorama Farms Invitational Saturday in Charlottesville, Va.  The meet, which will serve as the site for the 2015 NCAA Southeast Regional, will begin with a men's 8K at 10 a.m. followed by a women's 6K at 10:45 a.m.

The Paladin men, who are ranked 18th nationally and second in the Southeast Region, will face a strong field that includes two of the nation's top 20 teams, No. 9 Virginia, who leads the Southeast Region poll, and No. 20 Eastern Kentucky.  No. 16 Virginia leads a tough field in the women's meet, as well.

Other teams attending include Auburn, Bowling Green (women only), Butler (men only), Campbell (men only), Coastal Carolina, Eastern Michigan (women only), High Point, Hofstra, Liberty, Mississippi State, Morehead State, Oklahoma, Radford, Wake Forest, and Yale.

"We are looking forward to getting a feel for where we stack up against some teams inside as well as outside of our region," said Furman head coach Robert Gary.  "We are obviously focused on SoCon and NCAA Championship season, but this will be a great checkpoint for us as well as an opportunity to run the regional course."

Complete results from Saturday's meet will be available at www.furmanpaladins.com.
