GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Select members of the Furman indoor track and field team will compete Friday and Saturday at the UCS Invitational at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C., while other Paladin athletes will compete on Saturday at the Alex Wilson Invitational at the Loftus Sports Center on the campus of Notre Dame.

At the UCS Invitational, the Paladin women's distance medley relay team of Emma Grace Hurley, Emma Kuntz, Kristlin Gear, and Gabrielle Jennings will compete on Friday at 7:30 p.m.  On Saturday, Kuntz will compete in the 800m, while Hurley, Gear, and Riley Burr will run in the mile.  Jennings will compete in the 3,000m.  The meet will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will operate on a rolling schedule.

At Notre Dame, Jake Ogden and Mason Coppi will run in the mile, which is scheduled for Saturday at 1:20 p.m.

"We are excited about the small group we have going to both Notre Dame and the UCS Invitational, where we hope to have everyone set a personal record and improve themselves on the NCAA qualifying list," said Furman head coach Robert Gary.  "A real focus then exclusively targets the conference meet next weekend, where we hope to score more points than we ever have indoors and place among the top three."
