Furman To Compete At Virginia Challenge & USC Open

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman track and field teams will compete at the Virginia Challenge this Friday and Saturday in Charlottesville, Va., and at the USC Open in Columbia, S.C. on Saturday.

At Virginia on Friday, sophomores Emma Grace Hurley and Kristlin Gear will compete in the 3,000m Steeplechase at 7:25 p.m., and sophomore Riley Burr and freshman Emma Kuntz will run in the 800m, which is scheduled for 8:37 p.m.  On Saturday, the Paladins' events in Virginia will begin at 7:45 p.m. when sophomore Jake Ogden compete in the 1,500m.  Furman's last event on Saturday night is the women's 5,000m, which sophomore Jennifer Stephenson will run in beginning at 10:05 p.m.

The USC Open meet will begin with the women's 3,000m at 10 a.m. and will conclude with the women's shot put at 4 p.m.
